The levee construction in Luar Batang area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta has entered auction process and is targeted to be started in the upcoming May 2016.
The levee will have 1 km length, 4 meters height and its sheet pile has 17 meters depth
Before construction, 500 buildings standing on the beach side will be demolished first.

He explains, such construction will be managed by Jakarta Provincial Government along with some developers and Ciliwung-Cisadane Flood Control Office (BBWSCC).
It is hoped able to solve flood in Jakarta due to tidal wave from the sea.
"Predictably, the construction would be complete in the upcoming November," he finished.
